There’s something that happens when women gather.
It’s subtle at first.
A quiet softening in the room.
Shoulders drop. Breaths deepen.
The nervous system begins to recognize — I am safe here.
This month, we held The Sacred Womb — an intimate women's-only sound bath and support circle in honor of Women’s Month, in collaboration with Sweet Beginnings Midwifery in Las Vegas.
And while the structure of the evening was simple — a circle, a meditation, a sound bath — what unfolded was something much deeper.
Because it was never just about the sound bath.

A Space to Be, Not Perform
So many women move through life holding roles.
Caretaker. Partner. Mother. Builder. Holder of everything.
Even in wellness spaces, there can sometimes be an unspoken pressure to do healing “right” — to show up in a certain way, to process, to share, to grow.
But this space felt different.
There was no expectation to be anything other than human.
Some women came carrying quiet heaviness.
Some came in transition.
Some came simply because they felt called — without needing to explain why.
And for a moment, all of that was allowed to exist without needing to be fixed.

Returning to the Womb Space
During the guided visualization, we invited everyone to gently bring awareness to the womb space.
Not just as a physical space —
but as an energetic center of creation, memory, emotion, and intuition.
For some, this felt grounding.
For others, emotional.
For many, unfamiliar — yet deeply needed.
The womb holds so much.
Stories we’ve lived.
Stories we’ve inherited.
Experiences that were never fully processed.
And yet, how often are we given space to simply sit with it… gently?
No force. No urgency. Just presence.

The Sound of Collective Rest
As the sound bath began, the room shifted.
Breath slowed.
Bodies softened into the floor.
The space became quieter — but fuller at the same time.
There is something incredibly powerful about resting in a room of women who are also choosing to rest.
It creates a kind of permission.
A shared exhale.
A reminder that rest doesn’t have to be earned — and it doesn’t have to be done alone.

The Role of Community in Healing
Healing is often spoken about as a personal journey.
And while there is truth to that, there is also something we don’t talk about enough:
We are not meant to heal in isolation.
For generations, women have gathered in circles — through birth, grief, celebration, transition.
Midwives, like those at Sweet Beginnings, have long been keepers of these spaces. Not just for physical birth, but for emotional and communal support.
This gathering felt like a quiet return to that.
A remembering.
That being witnessed — even in silence — is healing.
That sitting beside another woman, without needing to compare or explain, is healing.
That simply being in the presence of shared humanity is healing.

A Gentle Reflection
As the evening closed, there was no rush to leave.
Just slow movements. Soft voices. A lingering stillness.
And maybe that’s the beauty of spaces like this.
They don’t try to change you overnight.
They don’t promise transformation in a single session.
They simply offer a place to pause.
To reconnect.
To feel.
To be held — by the space, by the sound, by each other.
Until Next Time
To every woman who joined us — thank you for bringing your presence, your openness, and your energy into the room.
And to those who feel called but haven’t yet joined — consider this your invitation.
You don’t have to wait for the “perfect time” to rest.
Or the “right reason” to receive support.
Sometimes, it’s enough to simply come as you are.
We’ll be here, holding the space 🤍
